Have you ever wished that you were better at map reading? Perhaps we can help you as we run both Bronze and Silver courses under the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS). The courses are run over two days, give you plenty of practical experience at planning and following a route and are a great confidence booster for those wanting to go off and explore the countryside by themselves.

The courses are based around Aberfoyle and follow the syllabus set out by the NNAS which be found on their website - click here for details. These are extremely practical courses which not only lead to a nationally recognised qualification, but more importantly, give you the confidence to plan your own days out - from the planning stage right through to sitting down with a well earned refreshment at the end of a satisfying day.
Outdoor clothing and boots should be worn as most of the course takes place outside. Map and compass can be provided for those who do not have their own.
As with our walks, we arrange most of our navigation courses to suit your needs and timings.
